After training as a scientific glass craftsman for about 10 years, creator Matsumura Kiyoshi went independent in 1995 as an artisan using oxygen burner work and borosilicate glass. Since then, he has continued to create a wide variety of products, from glass rings, pendants, wine glasses and other vessels to objets d'art. Then, taking advantage of all the know-how and technical experience he had in this field, he began making glass pens around 2007. Since then, he has consistently maintained an attitude of creating original products in every aspect. This is true not only of glass pens, but of all the works I create.

Storm glasses were used to forecast the weather in 19th century Europe. When the temperature drops, beautiful feather-like crystals appear.
